Tour Description

Explore what makes Fraser Island a World heritage listed icon in a day From Noosa or Rainbow Beach! Be picked up from or near your accommodation in Noosa and make your way through Cooloola State Forest, making sure to keep an eye out for koalas and kangaroos along the way. After a brief stop in Rainbow Beach township, we journey onto the world's largest sand island via the ferry at Inskip Point. Upon landing on Fraser Island, we make our way along the beach to a fresh water creek for some morning tea and photos. Head inland across the sand tracks to the stunning Lake McKenzie, a picturesque fresh water lake famous for its beautiful white sandy beach and brilliant blue waters. Relax in the sunshine, try to spot the native dingo's or enjoy a swim in the lake. After a picnic style lunch, we journey further into the centre for a rainforest walk. Learn about the history of the Island at Central Station and take a self-guided wander through the rainforest to Pile Valley. Afterwards, we make our way back towards the mainland with a drive along the beach highway! After another quick stop in Rainbow Beach, we ahve you back in Noosa in the evening after a full day of exploring.
