This 4WD adventure journeys to the spectacular Oasis of Palm Valley.



Travel along the magnificent West MacDonnell Ranges to the historic precinct of Hermannsburg Mission where we have morning tea. Explore the Lutheran Mission and Art Gallery featuring work by the famous indigenous artist, Albert Namatjira.



then journey along the ancient Finke River bed to Palm Valley for morning tea.Travel along the Ancient Finke River to explore the relict palms and cycads of spectacular Cycad Gorge and Palm Valley.



Enjoy a picnic lunch in Palm Valley before a short walk to Kalaranga Lookout.



Watch the changing colours of the range while driving back to Alice Springs in the late afternoon.



Includes morning tea and lunch & entry fees.



Tour Does not operate December - January due to extreme temperature in the Valley - Over summer West MacDonnell Ranges Full Day is a much better option - cool off with a swim at Ellery Creek and enjoy a cold beer or wine at Glen Helen Resort.
