No meals included. Overnight accommodation is in a Butterfly Bungalow (twin share accommodation). Overnight stay is in the 3 star Bungalows, which are self-contained and overlooking the beach. The bungalows are twin share and features a small internal food preparation area with mini bar fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is an undercover outdoor deck with tables, chairs, large esky and Weber BBQ. The Resort has a small general store with provision for very basic food supplies, including milk, bread, eggs etc. You will need to bring your own food such as meat to the island. (Woolworths on Abbott Street opens at 6 am every day) Please bring small bag and a small esky only to the island.

Transfers to and from Fitzroy Island, snorkel gear hire and a glass bottom boat tour, overnight share accommodation in a Butterfly Bungalow.

Go to Fitzroy ISland Dive Centre to organise snorkel equipment hire and Glass Bottom Boat Tour (included on Day 1)

Tour Description

Day 1 and Day 2 on Fitzroy Island with an overnighter in a Butterfly Bunglaow on Fitzroy Island (Twin share accommodation)

Day 1: Meet at the end of ‘E’ Gate at 7:30 am for a 8:00 am departure. M V Sunkist is the white boat at the end of the jetty.

Transfer to Fitzroy Island on MV Sunkist, arriving at Fitzroy Island approximately 9:00 am. Check in to the resort is at 2 pm, so you have all day to explore the Island. Day One Snorkel Equipment and a Glass Bottom Boat Tour is included. Please go to Fitzroy Island Dive Centre to rent snorkel equipment and organise your Glass Bottom Boat tour. You can hire kayaks and stand up paddle boards or even try diving! Fitzroy Island offers great hiking tracks and beaches. Go to the turtle rehabilitation centre to see the great work they do.

On Day two please be at the wharf at 3.150 pm to meet MV Sunkist
