Tour Description
This full day reef cruise departs from Cairns giving you the opportunity to spend five hours on Green Island before returning to Cairns. The tour departs from Cairns at around 9 am daily from Reef Fleet Terminal in Spence Street, or from Cairns or Cairns beaches upon request. The boat is a 35 metre fully air conditioned catamaran with spacious cabins inside to instil a sense of relaxation and tranquillity, as you sail along one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world.
The entire cruising time from Cairns to Green Island will take about an hour. Once you get there, you have the choice to take part in several water activities or you can simply lounge around on the beach and enjoy the beauty of the white sand in all its glory. You will get a proper snorkelling demonstration and reef presentation on your way to Green Island, so that you know exactly what to do when you get there.
Our well-trained and friendly crew will help you plan your activities, so you can make the most of your trip to Green Island. Spend the better half of your day snorkelling through the reef as you witness the contours of the most impressive reef in the world. Trying to find Nemo, there are plenty of them to go around? Float around the crystal clear water as the magnificence of the marine life on Green Island enthrals you. If you want to do something on land, talk to your tour guides about the island rainforest boardwalks.
Additional Information:
The tour includes a catamaran transfer to Green Island and back to Cairns. You'll spend approximately 5 hours on Green Island, where you can enjoy a multitude of activities - whether you choose to go snorkelling or want to avail of the glass bottom boat facility ($16 additional for both). There is also a feeding fish display on-board. Tea and coffee is available in the morning as you board the catamaran. Some optional purchases available on-board include a buffet lunch and a semi-submarine coral view tour.
