Tour Description
Relax while enjoying a lunch-time cruise along the historic Murray River, gaining an insight into this unique river system with its magnificent landscapes and spectacular cliffs. Rejoin your coach and follow the river, stopping regularly for photos at the different lookouts. Visit Melba's Chocolate Factory and Woodside Cheese Wrights, followed by a relaxing journey through the Adelaide Hills.

• 2 hour cruise onboard the ‘Proud Mary’ whilst you enjoy a sumptuous lunch
• View the stunning orange cliffs, weeping willows & huge red river gums and see pelicans, galahs, cockatoos and cormorants
• Stop at picturesque lookouts for great photo opportunities, including Mannum Lookout
• Travel to Melba's Chocolate Factory and Woodside Cheese Wrights at Woodside with an opportunity for afternoon tea (own expense)
• Drive back through the picturesque Adelaide Hills
Itinerary:
Depart Adelaide and travel to the mighty Murray River. On arrival, board the ‘Proud Mary’ and relax as you cruise the historic river enjoying the wildlife and surrounding scenery. Over the next two hours, enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch prepared by the resident chefs as you continue your journey along the river and gain insight into the river system and unique landscapes of the region. Lunch includes complimentary water, tea and coffee – Other drinks available for purchase at the bar.
Upon disembarking there will be free time to explore the historic river town, Mannum, before rejoining your coach to follow the river bank, taking in spectacular views, and stopping regularly for great photo opportunities, including the Mannum Lookout.
Travel to Melba's Chocolate Factory and Woodside Cheese Wrights at Woodside, where there will be time for afternoon tea or souvenir purchases (own expense), before returning back to Adelaide via the scenic Adelaide Hills.
